You and your group will be departing from London on an air-conditioned coach and visiting some of the most important cities in the nation. Your guide will tell you everything you need to know about Stratford-Upon-Avon, Edinburgh, and Liverpool among many other cities and hidden gems that Great Britain has to offer. You will be getting 7 nights accommodation in 3-Star hotels during this tour, with the option to get a pre-tour hotel stay for one night before setting off. Breakfast is included during this tour.

What You Can Expect

Day 1Departingfrom London. Travelling by luxury coach, sit back and enjoy the journey as we head north to the university town of Cambridge. Enjoy a walking tour here. After some time spent in Cambridge, we continue north to reach historic York where you will enjoy a guided walking tour.Day 2 Iconic Hadrian's Wall is next. Said to have been built by the Romans this wall is a significant part of Great Britain's history. Not far away lies the border town of Jedburgh were we stop in this pretty market town. We continue our journey through to Scotland's largest city Glasgow. Day 3We set off for Scotland's elegant capital, Edinburgh. On our city tour, experience the stately Royal Mile, past St Giles' Cathedral to Holyrood house Palace - the Queen's residence in Edinburgh - and onto the 18th century New Town. Afternoon free time in Edinburgh for you to go off and wander; visit Edinburgh Castle, housing the Honours of Scotland, the nation's crown jewels.Day 4We head towards St. Andrews via the Firth of Forth Bridge. Famed for being the international home of golf, St. Andrews is one of Britain's finest towns. We head to Inverness by crossing the Firth of Tay and travel through Highland Perthshire with its thick pined-clad slopes.Day 5We journey deep into the Highlands of Scotland and take our chance with a legend known as the mythical Loch Ness Monster. Spellbound we head toFort Augustus and through the Great Glen to admire unforgettable views towards Glencoe. Passing through Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Parkback toGlasgow. Day 6 We travel via Gretna Green, where many an eloping couple have been married, then exploring in Windermere, this is a region so beautiful it inspired a host of romantic English poets. We continue the tour to the exciting and lively city of Liverpool, home of the Beatles and countless other inspiring icons! Enjoy a guided walking tour of Liverpool's celebrated culture and heritage. Day 7 We will stop at the former Roman fortress town of Chester. Our walking tour will take you along part of the well-preserved city walls. See the Eastgate Clock, Cathedral, the unique black and white 'Rows' (shopping arcades) and the remains of the Roman Amphitheater. Then we head to the pretty market town of Stratford-upon-Avon where you visit the half-timbered birthplace of William Shakespeare.
Day 8We head to the Georgian city of Bath. On the walking tour learn about it's Roman history, the city's rebirth in Georgian times. In the afternoon, we set off for our final stop of the tour the legendary and mythical Stonehenge site. Explore the mythical standing stones, the Neolithic Houses, and the fascinating exhibition. Finally, we return through the English countryside onwards to London where this tour ends. Option: Add on a pre-tour London hotel stay
