Fantastic views!! Skywalk is a must
Loved this tour, not just for the grand canyon but Thomas our bus driver was hilarious and had us laughing all day on a very long day. We were picked up at 6am down the road from Planet Hollywood a bit hard to find as we discovered it was underground and lots of different buses leaving at different points so lucky we looked the night before as we would have missed the bus. This bus then takes you to a central location where everyone is checked in and can have a coffee/snacks before boarding the bus for the tour. Very smooth ride with lots of information all the way. Grand Canyon spectacular and skywalk a must I was petrified but so glad I did it. There are 3 different areas to visit at the Grand Canyon. You really have to pace yourself to see all 3 areas plus look at the gift shop on the way out and also line up early at the start as the line gets very long. Buses take you between each area and come every 5-10 minutes but keep an eye out for the last bus. We had lunch at Hualapai Ranch which had large servings, basic food but nice and good for the kids. Dropped off at hotel on the way back. Very happy with this tour, especially Thomas, and definitely travel with them again.
Our driver/tourguide Thomas was incredible. I can't believe that he was able to drive, talk and be a standup comedian in the same time. This guy really deserves a rase. The tour was great overall, and if you are in Vegas you really need to take a day off from the craziness and enjoy the nature. The skywalk was crowded and the people taking pictures of you are really bad at their job... don't expect anything much from those images.
Very short stop at Hoover Dam. About 70 steps to walk up to the viewing area, but there is a zigzag path to use instead. The walkway is quite a distance from the dam, so take a good camera if you want detailed photos. The Grand Canyon was everything I'd expected and more. I didn't go on the skywalk and wasn't disappointed either. Shuttle buses take you to two different areas of the West Rim. Be warned, there are no barriers along the canyon at the West Rim so people can get stand right on the edge. Very few facilities when you're at the canyon so take what you need with you. We didn't bother with the Wild West show. After the majesty of the Grand Canyon it all seemed a bit frivolous, be great for kids though I imagine.
What a great day! We got notified of our pick up time at our hotel and they were prompt! Then we upgraded to the Mercedes for a more personal tour. Kevin was great! You won't be sorry for doing this trip! I wanted to do the Skywalk, but my friends and husband were afraid of heights....you can pay when get there if you change your mind! Line was too long though! Lunch was great! Plan to spend more time at Eagle Point where skywalk is and helicopter rides. Lunch was great at Guano Point! The Hualapai Ranch can be your last stop.
Actual tour was a brilliant experiance, do however wish we paid slightly more to save having to wait for others to get back to coach afterwards.
is a must go!
This is a great tour if you don and #39;t to do something at night back in Vegas. Our bus returned at 7pm, allowing us enough time to get dinner and relax.
Our driver, Tomas or Thomas (not sure of the spelling) was awesome. He maintained a lively, funny and upbeat attitude throughout the entire trip.
The views were more spectacular than what I had imagined. I was very surprised at how much fun the Skywalk was.
This tour is excellent. We skipped the ranch sounded like a tourist trap and spent all of our time in the viewing areas. The food served at Guano Point was fabulous. Highly recommend choosing this option for eating there.
Our driver, Uncle Russell, was entertaining, informative, friendly and helpful. The bus was clean and comfortable. The bagel we had at the bus station was delicious and the chicken dinner at Guano Point was the best dinner we had in Vegas. I loved each stop on the way. The canyon was beautiful.
You have to do it!
The tour was amazing. The skywalk was my least favorite though. I loved how picturesque Grand Canyon was the first time I saw it 20 years ago. It still is picturesque but the skywalk was a WTH distraction...
An awesome tour. The first stop for the Hoover Dam bypass bridge. The view of the Dam was incredible. Then off to the Grand Canyon. We purchased the Helicopter ride and the boat ride. Both were great with tremendous views of the canyon while flying in and out and the boat trip looking up at the walls. We bypassed the village and went straight off to the skywalk. Took me a second but once I stepped on the glass I am glad I did with the views of the sheer walls going straight down. Eagle Point is just as great when looking across the canyon. We then went to Guano Point and once again couldn't believe the beautiful sights that we were taking in. Our tour guide J. was a joy and made the bus ride very fun. An Amazing Tour.
Had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Thomas, our coach driver, was such a laugh and very informative - he really made the day special. The Grand Canyon is something else. The views are awesome and I would recommend this trip to anyone. The Skywalk was well worth the extra money.
The whole trip was incredible! We had a wonderful bus driver, Thomas. He was very knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam. He made the 3 hour trip go very quickly. I highly recommend the Skywalk portion of the trip as well.
This is a very good tour, everything is pretty seamless. We were picked up promptly at our hotel and taken to their location, from there we were given the option to upgrade to other tours but we chose not to. We boarded our bus and took off. Made a quick stop at Hoover Dam to take pictures, then boarded the bus and drove to the canyon which included seeing the Joshua Trees. The grand canyon is amazingly beautiful I had not been there in years and my daughter had never been. We went to the west rim. This is owned by the Indians so there are no guard rails and you are taken by shuttle to 3 places. The first is their personal area not at the canyon. We chose not to get off here as we wanted to see the canyon. We went to the 2nd stop with the skywalk and outdoor area. The skywalk was a breeze to get on to...there are lockers provided for your stuff as you are not allowed to take anything on the skywalk. It is incredible but i think it is more of a photo opportunity for them to sell you photos...you can avoid this, I did not, it was a special occasion so I ended up buying all of them but they were at a good price compared to other places i have encountered. Beautiful views and you can walk around the area. We chose to eat at this spot because my daughter is vegetarian and we were not sure she could get food at the 3rd stop. The food is not good here. I would not eat here again. You can pay more to have other food but we chose the option we had already technically paid for. It filled us anyway. We then went to the third stop Guano Point. I would eat here if you can, the food looked at smelled better then at stop 2 but I am not sure there are vegetarian options. I really liked this stop, we climbed up to the top where you got 365 degree views of the canyon. It is an incredible place. Enjoy your time. Please note, we wanted to go to stop 3 first and then go to 2 and then back but you can't do that without going all the way back to the beginning so see stop 2 then 3. We then ended up back at the beginning and took the bus back to Las Vegas, we were dropped off right at our hotel pretty much and even had time for a show that evening. It was a good trip, especially since someone else was doing the driving. Don't forget to tip the driver! I would take this tour again, eat at Guano Point and probably still skip Place 1, just not enough time for that.
An absolute must to see. Scenery is unbelievable. BBQ at the ranch was great. Our driver Felix was great and very knowledgeable. Thomas was also very helpful in another bus. Weather held off raining until the trip back to the hotel.
Absolutely outstanding day trip. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it is completely breathtaking to actually be at the Grand Canyon in person. The journey was great fun and pleasant, with the driver being funny and made everyone relax and enjoy the drive there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TRIP TO EVERYONE so many photos taken of the day and a memory that I will keep forever. Thank you Viator
Great tour. Our driver was Thomas. Hilarious and very knowledgable! Would highly recommend.
