The cathedral originally went under construction in 1572 and took 250 years to complete. It is a magnificent piece of architecture with mosaic structures and various works of art. You will continue to the National Palace, which is still home to the Office of the President and the Ministry of Finance. Built in 1693, the palace is home to the Diego Rivera murals that line the building’s hallways.

And last, but certainly not least, you will visit the Museum of Anthropology where you will learn about Mexico’s thirty centuries of evolution. The museum holds thousands of artifacts, including burial tombs, Olmeca stone heads, the famous Azteca Calendar Stone, and a reconstructed Mayan temple.
